Waste is processed locally by our partner Go 4 Greener in Derby—keeping transport emissions low. The Advetec biotechnology process removes 50–70% of the moisture, dramatically reducing volume. The remaining material is compressed into Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) blocks used in cement-works kilns in place of coal—displacing fossil fuel and reducing carbon emissions.
