Licensed Waste Carrier

Environment Agency

Full Environment Agency waste carrier licence authorising Hygiene Solutions to collect, transport, and transfer controlled waste. Every vehicle in our fleet is registered and every driver is trained in waste handling regulations and procedures.

What it means for you: Legal, fully documented waste collections, with an annual duty of care waste transfer note covering all collections.

Waste Transfer Station Licence

Environment Agency

Our Hinckley headquarters operates as a registered waste transfer station, licensed by the Environment Agency. Waste is consolidated, segregated, and prepared for onward transport to our waste processing partner, Go 4 Greener.

This is a blanket company policy that applies to all service technicians, office staff, and management. Enhanced DBS checks are the highest level of standard criminal record check available, and every technician also carries photo ID on site.

Hygiene Solutions holds both a licensed waste carrier registration and a waste transfer station licence, both issued by the Environment Agency. The waste carrier licence authorises us to collect and transport controlled waste. The transfer station licence authorises our Hinckley facility to receive, sort, and consolidate waste before onward transport to our waste processing partner. Together, these licences ensure full chain of custody and regulatory compliance.

Safe Contractor accreditation, administered by Alcumus, confirms that Hygiene Solutions meets recognised health and safety standards for working on client premises. The assessment covers risk assessments, method statements, insurance, training records, and safety management systems.
